Ein Licht blüht auf im Kerzenschein,
das uns umfängt und glücklich macht.
All dies Schweigen macht uns froh,
ein Leuchten durch die Herzen geht.
Und silbern schwingt der hohe Dom,
vom Hauch der Weihnacht still umweht.
Alles Dunkel sinkt hinweg,
